How to Update to a Trackable QR Code

This article will show you how to ensure the QR Codes on your designs are now trackable ones in the SendJim system.

Most of our new designs are already trackable QR Codes but some of our older designs will need to be updated in your account manually.

If you're unsure if your designs are already trackable or not, please reach out to our team using the chat feature and we can let you know.

Step 1: Navigate to your My Quick Sends:

Step 2: Locate the Design You Want a Trackable QR Code On:

  • Hover over your design and click "Edit".

  • Depending on if your QR code will be on the front or the back, click the appropriate option in the bottom left corner.

Step 3: Add/Replace the QR Code:

  • Click on the QR code currently on your design and select the trash can icon to delete it.

  • Once you delete it, along the left side you will select the "QR code" icon.

  • You will see the option to add a URL. Type or paste in your website. Then click "Insert".

  • Adjust the size and placement of your QR code to fit your design.

  • Follow the prompts in the top right corner until you can save your design.

You have now saved a trackable QR code to your design!

Step 4: Viewing the Scan History:

  • Once you have sent out a design with the trackable QR code, you will be able to view how many times it gets scanned as well as by which addresses in your Reports section.

  • Click the "Reports" tab along the left side.

  • There is a column called "QR Code Sans" which will show you the number of times the card has been scanned from each mailing.

  • You can also click "View Details" along the right side to see the individual addresses. It will then have a number next to each address to indicate if they have scanned your postcard.
